Today is Sunday,and stay at home doing nothing..
Have been thinking abit long time,'What should i cook/eat for dinner?'
Then something pop in my mind,maybe i should cook Tteokbokki..
However,i never cook it before,so before i went to grocers,i Google search the recipe..
TteokBokkI (떡볶이) is one of the most popular Korean street foods. Since
the way to cook this food is very easy and simple, Korean people often
make it at home too. Depending on your personal tastes, you can make it
spicier or sweeter. This snack has many different names according to its
ingredients such as cheese TteokBokkI, RaBokkI (Ramen noodles), GanJang
TteokBokkI, or GungJung TteokBokkI (soy sauce).
So i'm going to cook RaBokkI (Ramen noodles),before cooking have to got the ingredients..
Went to hypermarket bought the ingredients..
The ingredients need;
- 10 Sticky Rice Cake Sticks (one person)
- 1 Cabbage
- ⅔ Onion
- ½ Carrot
- 1 Green Onion
- Ramen (according to your favorite ramen brand)
- 2 spoon gochujang
- Cabbage, onion,carrot and green onion cut into small pieces..
- Slightly saute onions, carrots look like (Do not Scoop cooked),then pour a cup of water..
- Then put the cabbage and wait till the water boiling and put the sauce..
- Cook until the water boils,then put rice cakes and noodle (have to cook the noodle before put into it)
- Finish by adding the rice cakes and noodle and simmer for a further 2-3 minutes, Serve in a dish and sprinkle some green onion over the top.This is my very first time cook RaBokkI (Ramen noodles),although its my first time,yet the taste still look delicious..
